Dois Irmãos Track

Get off the beaten track

If you are looking for an unforgettable walking trip that will open your mind and change your concept about tourism – Then you should take one of our tours below. Simple, safe and affordable!

WHAT IS IT?

Even if you’ve never been to Brazil, there is a high chance that  you will recognise Dois Irmãos. This beautiful pair of mountains, situated at the end of Leblon beach, make up one of Rio’s most iconic views.

Leblon Beach

The Dois Irmãos or Two Brothers Mountain  are a real landmark of Rio de Janeiro that is located in the south zone area (Zona Sul)  – The Mountain divides Rocinha  which is the largest Favela in Latin America to Vidigal, one of Rio’s best spot to see the sunset and over look its beautiful beaches of Ipanema and Leblon. To cut a long story short – It looks impossible to simply walk up this steep mountain. However, it has a gentle slope on the back so the hike is much easier than you’d think. If you like a challenge, the Dois Irmãos Hike is a great choice for you!

Important: In the mornings (until 10.30), the traffic is redirected and cars/buses can’t go up the Avenida Niemeyer. If you want to hike in the morning you have no other option than to walk with our guide.
