At the heart of our mission is education and opportunity. We believe that empowering people with knowledge opens doors to a brighter future — both for individuals and for the community as a whole.
Through our program, we train and mentor new local guides, helping them develop professional skills in tourism, hospitality, and cultural exchange. This not only creates jobs but also strengthens the local economy and promotes pride in Rocinha’s rich culture and history.
In addition, we offer free English lessons, giving participants the confidence to communicate with visitors from around the world.
Many organizations raise funds for various causes, and we deeply respect the important work they do. However, since 2002, we have been leading tours in Rocinha with local guides, and over these years, we’ve gained invaluable experience and insight into the social issues and needs that often go unnoticed.
